Do you want to make a difference in the lives of shelter and rescue cats? Do you have a few hours here and there to spare? Then volunteer through one of our rescue or shelter partners at the cat cafe to help care for the cats, match them with potential adopters, and su-purr-vise the cat lounge!

LET US BE VERY CLEAR: Cafe volunteers will NOT spend their entire shift playing with cats—our lounge patrons will give them plenty of attention. Cat health and safety are our top priorities, and volunteers will help us provide a safe, clean, and pleasant experience in the lounge to reach our goal of socializing and adopting shelter and rescue cats. Volunteers may assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and following disease prevention protocols; monitoring cat behavior and health, identifying concerns, and reporting them to staff; basic grooming; monitoring customers to make sure they comply with lounge rules to keep the cats safe and happy; educating about the importance of spay/neuter; and facilitating good adoption matches.

Volunteers get a T-shirt to wear on shifts, along with a nametag identifying them as a volunteer, and will be asked to commit to at least two shifts per month. Shifts will be 2 hours (or more if you like), and volunteers may pick one drink and one snack per shift. For every 10 hours, volunteers will get a one-hour lounge visit coupon that can be used for anyone. For every 50 hours, volunteers get a $50 credit towards a merchandise purchase.
